Hip & Thigh Flashcards

1
Q

List the 2 taught hip & thigh points and describe their location

A

Hip & thigh points

1. GB30

At the junction of the lateral 1/3 and medial 2/3 of the distance on the line between the sacral hiatus (~ top of the anal crease) and the most prominent posterior point of the greater trochanter.

2. GB31

On the lateral aspect of the thigh, 7 cun above the popliteal crease (lateral knee joint line). Alternatively, found in the standing position, where the tip of the third finger reaches the thigh.
