Herbal lymphatics:

Herbal astringents:

derm conditions - warts
pulmonary conditions - catarrhal, hemoptysis, diptheria
topical - sloughing wounds, ulcer, gangrene
GYN - spongy, tender uterus; leucorrheal dc
Thuja - cautions:
acute kidney infection/dz
pregnancy (uterine contraction)
prolonged use (cumulative toxicity)
Poke root - constituents:
alkaloids triterpenoid saponins poke weed antiviral protein (PAP) poke weed mitogen (PWM) phytolaccic acid resin tannin young shoots: Fe, vit C, Calcium, beta carotene
Poke root - actions:
alterative anti-catarrhal lymphagogue anti-rheumatic emetic/purgative fugicide, parasiticide antiviral/antibacterial

sore, ulcerated mucus membranes; aphthae - mouth, lips
hard, painful, enlarged glands - lymphatic alterative
mastitis, breast lumps

cumulative toxicity (n/v, diarrhea, cramps, dizziness, HA) wear gloves/mask when handling
