Henry agreed to send 6000 troops and in return Anne pledged to pay for the English troops and not to marry or form alliances without Henry’s consent.

Henry agreed to send 3000 troops to help Maximillian’s army. BUT Maximillian did not hold up his side of the deal and did not send troops to Henry in Brittany

- France agreed to £159,000 known as the French Pension in return for England removing its troops from French soil
- Encourages trade between the two countries

Forces an agreement with better trading terms and forces Philip to give up Edmund de la Pole, the Earl of Suffolk (Yorkist relation to Richard III)

France, Spain and the HRE formed the league with the aim to attack Venice- England excluded from this, though Henry doesn’t care

Brought a close to the conflicts erupting due to James IV’s backing of the Warbeck invasion

Margaret’s marriage to James is finalised and takes place in August 1503. This did stabilise and secure the Scottish boarder for the remainder of Henry’s reign
Navigation Acts 1485 and 1489
- Acts of parliament designed to encourage ship building
- These acts stated that English ships and English crews had to be used to import and export goods. These were designed to stop the drain on money of hiring foreign ships
