young patient with recurrent gum bleeding. 2 epistaxis. rash on ankles and legs. healthy appearing with petechiae. HSM. labs show platelet of 40,000. PT and PTT normal. Dx? tx?

48 year old with pallor and fatigue, no bleeding. See hypochromic microcytic anemia. Hgb 9.4 and iron normal. Next step? Dx?
