Q

What does a white light mean?

A

AP modes is armed or SAS is in standby

17
Q

What does a green light mean?

A

Selected mode is engaged

18
Q

What angle of bank with the AP use to turn to a heading?

A

Max 20 degrees

19
Q

When will NAV become active when in standby?

A

When helicopter is less than 15 seconds from intercept.

20
Q

VOR and LOC bank angle limit

A

10 degrees VOR

15 degrees LOC

21
Q

When will VRT become active?

A

NAV must be active and VRT must be armed prior to intercepting GS.
VRT will activate at GS intercept.

22
Q

Procedure for missed approach ILS/VOR

A
  1. add power to arrest rate of descent
  2. change CDI to GPS (as long as approach is overlayed)
    - VRT will automatically disengage with the CDI change
  3. resume waypoint sequencing, NAV mode will remain active
23
Q

Procedure for missed approach GPS

A
  1. add power to arrest rate of descent
  2. disengage VRT by pressing soft key or fly through and it will automatically disengage passing 1000 feet of the threshold
24
Q

When is ALT mod available?

A

Any time above 200’ of the ground
