A

Yin-Yang separate causing Yang to float to the surface and disperse outwards

Symptoms:

A

Etiology: Yin and body fluids damaged due to severe bleeding and chronic illness
Insufficient Heart Blood, failure to nourish the body

Symptoms:
Palpitations, insomnia with dream disturbed sleep, fearful throbbing, pale complexion, dizziness

A

Etiology: Late febrile stage of disease (fever burns internal fluid)
Insufficient Heart Yin, yin-yang disharmony cause empty fire to generate inside

Palpitations, fearful throbbing, insomnia with dream disturbed sleep, 5 center heat, night sweats, malar flush

Etiology: Overeat hot and spicy food, emotional disharmony (anger)
Internal excessive fire

Describe Heart Vessel Obstruction

A

Etiology: bad diet of fatty and deep fried food, emotional disharmony (qi stagnation)
Obstruction of heart vessels due to blood stasis, phlegm, or accumulation of cold and qi

Symptoms:
Palpitations, fearful throbbing, chest oppressive pain that radiates to left shoulder, upper arm, back

> Blood Stasis = sharp and stabbing pain, worse at night
Phlegm = Dull distending pain, heavy sensation
Cold = Severe colicky pain, worse with cold
Qi Stagnation = Distention pain, pain location moves, aggravated with emotional disharmony
