Avoid working at heights, ensure equipment is available and can be used as recommended

Avoid manual handling use safe lifting techniques and equipment

COSHH must be carried out. Correct technique including gloves.
Electricity at Work Regulation 1989
All equipment must be tested. Commercial equipment should be 100 volts run through a transformer.

Can’t disturb wildlife
Reporting of injuries diseases and dangerous occurrences 2013
Reporting of anything requiring 3 or more days off work

Awareness of vibration and restricting the amount of exposure
Five Steps to Risk Assessment
- Identify the risks (Walk around/ask others)
- Decide who might be harmed and how
- Evaluate the risks and decide on precautions
- Record findings and implement
- Review and update if necessary
