no i’d wear rubber souled boots as steel toe caps may conduct electricity

- all lifting opersations must be properly planned by a competent person, appropriatel supervised and carried out
in a safer manner

- carried out an inspection of the agricultural units on an estate, i wore steel toe cap boots, and a personal proetection alarm
What would you do if you suspected asbestos existed on a site inspection?
- Make note of its presence and location
- Dependent on the purpose of the inspection I would suggest an asbestos survey
- inform anyone with access to the site
- avoid if broken/damaged
Tell me about any specific precaitons you would take when inspecting a dilapidated property.
- evidence of damp/mould = mask
- if unsure of structual safety = either not enter the property or wear hard hat and boots check with stuctural surveyor
- if empty ensure no squatters and not go unaccompanied
