A

Differences in disease, incidence, prevalence, morbidity, and morality in a population. This could be a result of:
- biological variation: women suffer from breast cancer > men
- Freely-chosen health damaging behavior: smoking
- Freely-choosing not to adopt a health innovation: anti-vaxx
