What are the steps to making monoclonal antibodies?

A

Step 1: Inject an animal with an antigen
Step 2: Extract the b-lymphocyte
Step 3: Fuse lymphocyte with a fast-growing tumour (Cancer cell) to create a hybridoma
Step 4: The hybridoma will divide rapidly making lots of antigens
