O- Medial Epicondyle, Coronoid Process of Ulna, Mid-shaft of the radius, interosseus membrane
I- Middle Phalanx of digits 2-5
A- Flexes PIP of digits 2-5, weak wrist flexor
N- Median Nerve
Flexor Digitorum Profundus
O- Upper 3/4 of the ulna and interosseus membrane
I- Base of distal phalanx 2-5 (passing through tendon sheath of FDS)
A- Flexes DIP of digits 2-5, weak wrist flexor
N- Median and Ulnar Nerve
Flexor Pollicis Longus
O- Anterior shaft of the radius
I- Distal phalanx of the thumb
A- Flexion of the thumb
N- Median Nerve
Extensor Digitorum
O- Lateral Epicondyle
I- Tendon splits, 1 slip to middle phalanx, 2 slips to distal phalanx of digits 2-5 (dorsal extensor expansion)
A- Extends PIP and DIP of digits 2-5, weak wrist extensor
N- Radial Nerve
Abductor Pollicis Longus
O- Middle posterior radius and ulna, interosseus membrane
I- Base of 1st metacarpal
A- Abducts 1st digit, weak wrist extensor
N- Radial Nerve
Extensor Pollicis Longus
O- Distal 1/3 of the ulna, interosseus membrane
I- Base of the 1st distal phalanx
A- Extension of 1st phalanx, weak wrist extensor
N- Radial Nerve
Extensor Indicis
O- Posterior distal ulna, interosseus membrane
I- Distal phalanx of 2nd digit
A- Extends 2nd digit, weak wrist extensor
N- Radial Nerve
Extensor Pollicis Brevis
O- Posterior distal aspect of radius, interosseus membrane
I- Base of the proximal phalanx
A- Extension of the MCP joint, weak wrist extensor
N- Radial Nerve
Abductor Pollicis Brevis
O- Transverse carpal ligament, schaphoid, trapezium
I- Proximal phalanx of 1st digit (radial side)
A- Abduction of the thumb, assists in opposition
N- Median Nerve
Flexor Pollicis Brevis
O- Trapezium, flexor retinaculum
I- Proximal phalanx of thumb
A- Flexes the thumb (at the MCP joint)
N- Median and Ulnar Nerve
Abductor Digiti Minimi
O- Pisiform, pisohamate ligament, flexor retinaculum
I- Base of the proximal phalanx of the 5th (ulnar side)
A- Abducts 5th digit
N- Ulnar Nerve
Flexor Digiti Minimi
O- Hamate
I- Base of proximal phalanx of 5th digit (ulnar side)
A- Flexes the 5th digit
N- Ulnar nerve
Adductor Pollicis
O- Transverse Head: Anterior aspect of 3rd metacarpal
Oblqiue Head: Trapezoid, capitate, base of 2nd and 3rd metacarpals
I- Proximal phalanx of 1st digit (medial side)
A- Adducts the 1st digit
N- Ulnar nerve
