pain due to rubbing of foot on shoe leading to inflamed bursa over the medial 1st metatarsal head (bunion)
skin breakdown and ulceration due to rubbing
overlapping of toes and lesser toes impingement in severe cases
usually bilateral

surgery for cosmetic reasons, most are dissatisfied
