  • pop that is felt or heard
  • hemarthrosis (effusion due to bleeding of the ACL blood supply)
  • deep pain in knee
  • rotatory instability
  • feeling the knee could give way

Lachman’s (positive anterior drawer test- the tibia can be pulled forward easily on the femur when knee is flexed)
