• And collected in sterilized paper envelopes after skin disinfection.
How can nail samples be collected for dermatophyte analysis?
• Discolored or hyperkeratotic areas of nails can be scraped, or diseased nail clippings
• May be collected in sterilized paper envelopes for dermatophyte testing.
