H- Selecting And Implementing Interventions Flashcards
Objective
Based on data in a criteria. Avoid being subjective.
Observable
Public events. Behavior and skills that we can see.
Measurable
Public events. Behaviors and skills that we can measure.
Clear
Technological. Easily read and understood by others.
Fair pair rule
Whenever behavior is decreased, another behavior must increase in its place
Functional equivalent
The behavior must serve the same function
IOA
Empirical way of measuring integrity
Total count IOA
Simplest.
IOA= smaller count/larger count*100
Mean count per interval IOA
Break up the observation into end rules. Calculate the total count IOA for each interval. Add up IOAs for all intervals and divide by total number of intervals.
Exact count per interval IOA
Most strict. Percent of intervals in which observers record the same count.
Exact IOA/total trials*100
Trial by trial IOA
The number of intervals were trials in which the observers record the same occurrence or non-occurrence. Either recorded a response or not a response. The total data does not matter, only whether or not there was a response.
