What are outcome goals?

A
  • A goal set against the performance of others and based on a result.
  • End results (e.g winning a cup/league).
  • Standard of performance is secondary to the result.
  • If this is achievable it maintains motivation and focus (play bad but still win= success)

  • Specific standard.
  • You can lose the event but still gain success from it.
  • Can be broken down into smaller aspects of the skill.
