What is the definition of anxiety?
A negative aspect of stress characterised by irrational thinking, loss of concentration and fear of failure.

What is competitive trait anxiety?
When a performer suffers nerves in most situations (personality trait).
What is competitive state anxiety?
When a performer only experiences anxiety at a specific time during a competition situation. They will experience a temporary rich of anxiety.
What are somatic symptoms of anxiety?

- Increased heart rate
