What is the dose of Glucose Gel for hypoglycaemia?

A

If the patient is <1 yr old, the dose is up to 15g, administered BU in small aliquots via a gloved finger.

If the patient is 1yr old or more, the dose is 1 tube (15g) initially, repeatable after 15min to a max dose of 30g.
