Intro consent and check patients details with wristbands

Patient and me washes hands

Check expiry and lot number on box

Remove foil and check lot number with the one displayed on glucometer

Lancet patient, warning them and offering cotton wool

Horizontal test strip and gather blood

Check reading and note down

Throw lancet in sharps and others in clinical waste

Thank patient
