A

1.6 million Chinese immigrants.
Chinese foreign born are better educated and less likely to live in poverty than the immigrant population.
Chinese immigrant men are less likely to participate in the labour force than other immigrant men.
Nearly half of Chinese foreigners had a Bachelors degree or higher.

A

In 2016, more than 1.9 million Filipinos lives in the United States.
After US annexation of Philippines in 1889, Filipinos migrated to the US to study or to fill agricultural jobs, primarily in California and Hawaii.

A

Immigrant population take many low paid jobs which native Americans find unattractive.
Many less educated immigrants find work in domestic services. This has reduced cost of household care.
In 2006, immigrants founded 25% of new high tech companies with more than $1 million in sales. This helped to keep American economy innovative.
Immigrants are consumers themselves which helps job creation and business start up, generates wealth.
