What does it show?

A

Shows the three main globalised cores in the world (North America, Europe, east Asia)

Shows the links between these cores (east/west) as well as the upward transition (north/south). E.g. Southern Africa, east Asia and Latin America + Australia

A

Shows the downward transitioning areas where links are lessening, weakening (ex-soviet states, Brazil)
There is a lot of FDI and offshoring and outsourcing between the upward transitioning models and core models

A

The effect of the links between the core and upward transitioning areas leading to increased growth of the core areas as the links increase
