If a provider wants to give Symicort over albuterol what do you tell them?
Depends on the patient, but Symbicort is not used to relieve bronchospasms. Albuterol is fast acting

Decreases the reliance of SABAs that may cause airway remodeling after chronic use. Increasing exacerbations and mortality
