Tenderness of the ovaries palpated on pelvic exam which usually indicates ovarian cyst.
Adnexal Tenderness
The opening in the center of the cervix which is closed except when tissue is being passed through the cervix.

Tenderness cause when moving the cervix during a pelvic exam.
Cervical Motion Tenderness (CMT)
What does CMT usually suggest? What does CMT stand for?
Pelvic Inflammatory Disease; Cervical Motion Tenderness
Condition resulting from the appearance of endometrial tissue outside the uterus; causes pelvic pain.
Endometriosis
The state of being pregnant.
Gravid
What do G, P, and A stand for? How are they used?
G=Gravida = # of total pregnancies. P=Para = # births (carried beyond 20 weeks). A=Abortus = # of terminated pregnancies whether induced or spontaneous.
What would the G, P, A of a female who is currently pregnant, has been pregnant 3 times previously and has 2 children at home be?
G4, P2, A1
Swelling/dilation of the kidney due to obstruction of the ureter, usually caused by a kidney stone.
Hydronephrosis
Condition marked by the presences of kidney stones.
Nephrolithiasis
Surgical removal of one or both of the ovaries.
Oophorectomy
Twisting of the ovary to such a degree the ovarian artery or vein becomes obstructed.
Ovarian Torsion
Tightening/narrowing of the opening of the foreskin so that it cannot be retracted.
Phimosis
Inflammation/infection of the kidneys.
