A
individuals with desired characteristics and using them to parent the next generation. problems with ethics, such as those offspring which don’t have desired characteristics are killed and some can suffer for their characteristics e.g. pugs cant breathe well

A
when some individuals colonise to a new region, thy carry a small amount of alleles with them so there is less genetic diversity between the next generations. less able to adapt to new environment

population decreases suddenly due to interference by man or natural reasons. the survivors have a fewer amount of alleles, genetic diversity is less
