DOOR/OXY page open automatically if
Engines are shut down
Any door is not closed and an engine is running
An over wing exit or it’s handle cover is removed
A cabin door has been open
Red light seen from inside and outside for door warning
Warns the aircraft is pressurized
Illuminates if these four conditions exist:
Aircraft is on the ground
Engines shut down
Door is disarmed
Cabin is pressurized
DOOR/OXY page nomenclature
Green closed and locked and no name by the door
Solid amber unlocked or open or an overwing exit open or handle cover is removed. The name of the door is also worded and amber
White “SLIDE” means slide is armed
If slide is deployed it will show both an amber door and name (CABIN) and a white SLIDE
Cargo door hydraulics
Yellow hydraulic system powers cargo doors either electric over hydraulic or manual hydraulic
Slide safety features
Will not deploy if opened from the outside
A red light flashes if pressurized
Fire extinguishers
1 halon in cockpit
2 halon in cabin
2 water in cabin

Medical equipment
5 portable oxy in cabin
2 eemk (locked compartment rear right cabin) contains cardiac meds, drugs, syringes
2 first aid kits ( left cabin fwd and rear) contains bandages tape alcohol wipes
1AED (automated external defibrillator) located RR with XMK
Flashlights
Located near each flight attendant seat 3 aft 2 fwd
Battery indicator light flashes every 15 seconds indicating adequate pwr non rechargeable

Airbus light philosophy

Blue - status for system used for short periods
Green - normal system status
