What’s the difference when logging night landing and obtaining your currency for night landing?
- If landing during civil twilight you may log it as a night landing, but in order to log it for currency it must be 1 hr after sunset to 1 hr before sunrise

What does the manifold pressure control?
It controls how much airflow gets sent into the engine via controlling the butterfly valve
How does the engine prevent overspeeding the props?
As we increase manifold pressure, the governor prevents overspeeding of the flaps
What is some things to look for when mixed Avgas and 100LL?
- JetA weighs 6.7lbs 100LL weighs 6lbs
- JetA will settle to the bottom of the tank (it will take a while)
- When sumping fuel with JetA at the bottom, it will look blue in color but will have strong Kerosene color
