I do not underestimate life (living)
i.e., I don’t have the desire for life
I am waiting for the time (moment) of death

Desito, Ānanda, mayā dhammo anantaraṃ abāhiraṃ karitvā. Natthānanda, tathāgatassa dhammesu ācariyamuṭṭhi.
I have taught the Dhamma, Ānanda, without making a distinction between inside and outside. The Tathāgata has no closed fist of a teacher in regard to the teachings.
阿難!我所說的法,沒有做了內部、沒有做了外部。如來的法沒有老師的秘藏(袖中秘笈) 。
Atha kho bhagavā āyasmantaṃ Ānandaṃ āmantesi – ‘‘siyā kho panānanda, tumhākaṃ evamassa – ‘atītasatthukaṃ pāvacanaṃ, natthi no satthā’ti. Na kho panetaṃ, ānanda, evaṃ daṭṭhabbaṃ. Yo vo, Ānanda, mayā dhammo ca vinayo ca desito paññatto, so vo mamaccayena satthā.”
Then the Blessed One said to Ven. Ananda, “Now, if it occurs to any of you — ‘The teaching has lost its authority; we are without a Teacher’ — do not view it in that way. Whatever Dhamma & Vinaya I have pointed out & formulated for you, Ānanda, that will be your Teacher when I am gone.”
— DN 16: Mahāparinibbānasutta
爾時,世尊告阿難曰:
“阿難!若於汝等中,有作如是思惟:“大師之教言滅,我等無複有大師。”阿難!勿作如是見,阿難!依我為汝等所說之法與律,於我滅後,當為汝等之大師。

Material form is just like a foam,
Feeling is just like a bubble,
Identification or perception is like mirage,
Volitional activities are like the trunk of a banana tree (which is empty),
Consciousness is just like deceit / magic.
「觀色如聚沫,受如水上泡,想如春時燄,諸行如芭蕉,諸識法如幻,日種姓尊說。
kāyena saṃvaro sādhu, sādhu vācāya saṃvaro, manasā saṃvaro sādhu, sādhu sabbattha saṃvaro, sabbattha saṃvaro bhikkhu sabbadukkhā pamuccati.
Restraint over the body is good. Good is restraint over the speech. Restraint over the mind is good. Good is restraint everywhere. The monk who is restrained everywhere will be freed from all suffering.
律儀身是好的, 律儀語是好的, 律儀意是好的, 律儀諸根是好的, 律儀諸根的比丘得以解脫一切苦。
