What is a hemiplegic gait?
A
Unilateral upper motor neurone leg weakness with ipsilateral arm flexed and adducted

What is a spastic gait?
A
Bilateral UMN leg weakness. Small steps and toes firmly pressed to floor. Legs adducted touching eachother (scuff toes of shoes)

Cerebellar ataxia
A
Wide based unsteady gait with stagger to affected side if unilateral

Sensory ataxic gait
A
Proprioception and somatosensory loss causes unsteadiness and foot stamping

Myopathy gait
A
Waddling due to proximal weakness. Bent forwards & cant climb stairs or stand from sitting.
