FW Ordnance Flashcards
AGM-154
JSOW. A low observable, all weather 1,000 pound family of stand off air to ground glide weapons. It is a modular payload assembly designed to attack armored and light armored vehicle columns, surface to air targets, and personnel. A/B is INS/GPS and C is INS/GPS with IR seeker and precision automated target acquisition.
AGM-130
Rocket powered version of the GBU-15. Standoff range between 15 and 40nm. WSO is still able to steer the weapon during the terminal guidance for pinpoint accuracy.

AGM-84
A-D:Harpoon
E: SLAM
H/K: SLAM-ER
Intermediate range missile designed to provide day/night and adverse weather precision strike capability against land targets and ships in port. Uses INS with GPS, IR terminal guidance coupled with automated target recognition and man in the loop control.

GBU-44/b
Viper strike
40 pound laser/GPS guidance
GBU-39
Small diameter bomb. It is effective against fixed or stationary tgts and has limited penetration capability. As a standoff weapon, the SDB may climb in altitude after release to assume its glide profile. 250#. GPS/INS.
GBU-52
500 pound Dual Mode Laser Guided Bomb LCDB.
GBU-54
LJDAM. A multi-mode weapon that includes guidance via GPS with coordinate refinement through laser updates. It can be used in legacy mode as a GPS only with no degradation in capability. LJDAM is capable of hitting high-speed moving targets. Target heading and velocity can. E programmed into weapon to generate an impact point in front of the tgt. At 4.5km, if laser energy is present the LJDAM will calculate new coordinates based on the movement of the laser. If the weapon loses energy it will guide on the last known coordinates.
AGM-176
Griffin. 35 pounds GPS/Laser guidance. Designed as a lightweight, precision effects munition.
LGTR
90 pound laser guided bomb designed to simulate GBU-12
