SPAR VALVE CLOSED lights (blue)

A
  • extinguished = related spar fuel valve is open
  • bright blue = related engine or spar fuel valve is in transit, or valve position and engine start lever or engine fire handle disagree
  • dim blue = related spar or engine fuel valve is closed
  • controlled by start lever or fire handle
  • during engine start, goes bright to out

  • engine fuel valve is the HPSOV on the HMU
  • bright blue = related engine valve is in transit, or valve position and engine start lever or engine fire handle disagree
  • dim blue = related spar or engine fuel valve is closed
  • controlled by start lever or fire handle
  • during engine start, goes bright to out

A
  • indicates impending fuel filter bypass due to a contaminated filter
  • some or all fuel is bypassing the filter
  • may not be ice (fuel heat is automatic)

CROSSFEED VALVE OPEN light

A
  • extinguished = the crossfeed valve is closed (the normal situation)
  • bright blue = crossfeed valve is in transit or valve position and crossfeed selector disagree
  • dim blue = crossfeed valve is open
