- illuminated = indicates an overheat on the associated engine
- must sense an overheat/overheat, overheat/fire, or overheat/fault
- MASTER CAUTION and OVHT/DET annunciator illuminates
WHEEL WELL light warning
• illuminated = indicates a fire in the main gear wheel well
FAULT light
for both engine loops
- with the overheat detector switch in NORMAL, indicates both detector loops for an engine have failed
- consider landing as soon as possible
- with the overheat detector switch in A or B, indicates the selected loop for an engine has failed
- will not cause MASTER CAUTION, OVHT/DET, or fire handle lights to illuminate

- illuminated indicates a malfunction in the APU fire detection loop
- the MASTER CAUTION and OVHT/DET annunciator illuminates
APU BOTTLE DISCHARGED light
- illuminated = APU bottle has discharged
APU FIRE WARNING handle
PULL UP
- gouge is 2 SOVs and the word BAD
- closes fuel and bleed air SOVs
- trips generator Breaker, Arms discharge squibs, closes inlet Door
ROTATE
- left or right to discharge the single APU fire bottle (halon)
L BOTTLE DISCHARGE light
- illuminated = indicates the respective engine fire bottle has low pressure
- either by intentional discharge or thermal discharge

PULL UP
1)closes both the fuel valve in the HMU and the spar fuel SOV
2)closes the engine bleed air valve
3)generator trips off
4)closes the EDP hydraulic fluid SOV
5)disables thrust reverser for the related engine
6)allows the engine fire handle to be rotated for discharge
ROTATE
- rotate (left or right) discharges related fire bottle
