Engines draw from the INNER collector tank. As the fuel burns off fuel moves:
1. Center to Inner
2. Trim to Inner
3. Outer to Inner

When do the FCMC (Fuel Control and Monitoring Computers) transfer fuel to/from the Trim Tank?

A

CLIMB: Passing FL255 the FCMCs initiate an AFT Transfer of Fuel.
CRUISE: During cruise fuel is transferred forward to maintain tank levels and optimum CG.
DESCENT: Forward transfer begins at FL 245 or 35 min to destination.
