Fou 5 - Plasma Membrane Flashcards
Which are the receptors of the plasma membrane?
Tyrosine kinase receptors and G protein-coupled receptors, but Steroid receptors are in cytoplasm.
What is the first step in signaling cascade of the Tyrosine Kinase receptors?
Autophosphorylation.
Which is the most important protein in the receptor-mediated endocytosis?
Clathrin.
Which is the enzyme to convert the membrane phospholipids to arachidonic acid? And what drug inhibit this enzyme?
Phospholipase A2, corticosteroids.
Which are the effects of the leukotrienes?
Neutrophil chemotaxis and high bronchial tone.
Which are the effects of the prostacyclin 2?
Decrease platelet aggregation, vascular tone, bronchial tone and uterine tone.
Which are the effects of the prostaglandins ?
Increase uterine tone (PGF2 and PGE2), decrease vascular tone (PGE1), decrease bronchial tone and increase gastric mucus production.
Which are the effects of the Thromboxane?
Increase platelet aggregation, navicular tone and bronchial tone.
Which arachidonic acid product cause increased bronchial tone?
Leukotrienes and Thromboxane.
