Pain during exercise

How is achilles tendon rupture tested for?
Simmonds test - gently squeeze the calf, if foot does not move then achilles tendon is ruptured
What is the non-operative treatment for achilles tendinopathy?
Activity modification

Running with poorly padded shoes
What are the symptoms of plantar fasciitis?
Pain first thing in the morning
Pain on weight bearing after rest
