Watch for MRSA
Broad spectrum, then specific with culture
Charcot foot
Destructive arthropathy, impaired pain perception.
Bone becomes washed out and weak, resulting in small fx’s.
Most commonly involved midfoot joints.

Painless sweling**
Painful foot when normally neuropathic
Bounding pulses
Immobilize!
Diabetic shoes
