• Feeling sick - may be sick

• A raised, red/pink itchy rash shows on the skin (called hives)

• Stay calm and call 999 for an ambulance
• Make the patient comfortable

What is food intolerance

A

Food intolerance happens when something in certain foods makes someone feel unwell most of the time but is not as life-threatening as a food allergy can be. People with a food intolerance may have a range of symptoms:

Diarrhoea,musclle pain,bloating,nausea,tiredness snd amny more

A

Avoid contaminating foods with food allergens (ingredients that people are allergic to) when preparing food

• Tell customers about the ingredients in the food they are selling or serving them

• Make sure that menus show all the ingredients they contain, so that customers avoid buying foods they know they cannot eat

How are people lactose intolerant

A

Lactose is the natural sugar found in dairy milk. People who have lactose intolerance cannot digest (break down and absorb lactose in their body). so the bacteria in their large intestine break it down instead which produce gas (bloating/flatulence)

A

Coeliac disease is caused by the immune system not tolerating gluten, which is found in wheat, barley, oats and rye and food products that contain them.
