50% in first 8 hours
50 % in the next 16hours

What fluid would you choose for burns resuscitation and why?

A

Crystaliod eg ringers or Hartmanns

Because Colliod causes more fluid in the interstitial compartment

After 24 hours - give colloid infusion and crystalid infusion.
