Reassurances to Perdita of his love
Dramatic Method
Religious allusion to gods as he states that gods have lowered their standards to mortals stating that their love is nothing wrong with their love as gods have committed the same act. Their love is pure “chaste” as he loves her emotionally as he is a prince he can take advantage if he wanted but he truly loves her for her.
Can link to the structure of the play divided into two parts as Shakespeare wants this relationship to work he props them up as something pure (can relate to the symbolism of spring)
