17
Q

PITCH TRIM caution light illuminates why?

A

FCECU detects inability to control either pitch trim acutator or airspeed varies by more than 17kts

18
Q

ELEVATOR FEEL caution light illuminates why?

A

FCECU detects inability to control elevator feel below 200kts or airspeed varies by more than 17kts or normal acceleration is sensed to be invalid.

19
Q

ELEVATOR Asymmetry

A

FCECU detects mismatch between elevator positions with airspeed < 200kts

20
Q

ELEVATOR PRESS meaning?

A

FCECU detects all 3 PCU’s are powered

21
Q

Who has what controls after the ROLL HANDLE DISCONNECT is pulled?

A

CPT controls Spoilers

FO controls Ailerons

22
Q

ROLL OUTBD & ROLL INBD meaning?

A

Adivsory that all spoilers are extended

23
Q

ROLL SPLR INBD / OUTBD on the ground?

A

FCECU detects spoiler fault on ground

24
Q

SPLR OUTBD meaning?

A

FCECU fails to lockout or enable outboard spoilers at speed

25
Q

With flaps retracted do you have full rudder deflection

A

No only when flaps are extended

26
Q

1 OR #2 RUD HYD meaning?

A

FCECU has shut down that PCU due to a malfunction

27
Q

RUD CTRL meaning?

A

FCECU cannot control rudder / fail of both HYD sys / Airspeed > 17kts diff

28
Q

FLAP POWER meaning?

A

FCECU has locked flaps in last position

29
Q

FLAP DRIVE meaning?

A

Flaps operate at reduced rate

30
Q

1 OR #2 STALL SYST FAIL meaning?

A

Failure of respective Stall system

31
Q

PUSHER SYST FAIL on ground meaning?

A

Illuminates 30 sec after landing - single stick shaker failure

32
Q

Which control column is directly connected to the spoilers?

A

Captain side

33
Q

What happens to the pressure to the rudder actuators as the speed increases?

A

As airspeed icreases, FECEU reduces the hydraulic pressure available to the PCU’s. Inputs from either rudder pedals cause less rudder deflection.

34
Q

What controls the pressure to the rudder actuator?

A

FCECU

35
Q

What will happen if pressure is lost on one rudder actuator?

A

If either hydraulic system is lost, the remaining PCU provides rudder control

36
Q

What will happen if both rudder PUSH OFF buttons are pressed at the same time?

A

Both RUD1 and RUD 2 “PUSH” lights come on, and neither rudder PCU will depressurise.

37
Q

Which control(s) do the gust lock lock?

A

Ailerons

38
Q

What controls the rate of the pitch trim?

A

FCECU controls pitch trim rate depending on airspeed data from ADC.
Below 150 KIAS trim operates at high speed.
Above 250 KIAS trim opeartes at low speed
Trim rate is adjusted between these airspeeds

39
Q

When does the ELEV PRESS caution light illuminate?

A

When all 3 HYD systems are providing pressure to the elevators.
ie HYD #3 ISOL VLV is open

40
Q

What does the ELEV FEEL caution light indicate?

A

One FCECU channel can’t control its elevator feel actuator

Airspeed #1 mismatches Airspeed #2 by 17 knots or more (IAS MISMATCH on PFD + RUD CTRL, SPLR OUTBD, PITCH TRIM cautions also illuminate)

Normal acceleration parameter is not valid

41
Q

For the spoilers to extend on landing, the FCECU and PSEU must recieve valid input signals from what two places?

A

Both power levers are less than flight idle +12*
Weight on wheels sensors detect main landing gear is on the ground.

The flight taxi switch must also be in the flight position and hydraulic pressure must be available.

42
Q

What does the ROLL SPLR INBD HYD master caution mean?

A

No. 1 hydraulic system pressure is less than 900psi or the SPLR 1 PUSH OFF switchlight has been pushed.

43
Q

What does the ROLL SPLR OUTBD HYD master caution mean?

A

No. 2 hydraulic system pressure is less than 900psi and KIAS <165, or

The SPLR 2 PUSH OFF switchlight has been pushed and KIAS <165 or

Spoiler cable failure
