A

Adjectival: functions as modifier of noun
1) adjectival relative clause
i.e I found the book that was missing
2) non-restrictive and restrictive relative clause
i.e Cathrine, who loves grammar, ate grapes. (NR)
i.e Did you see the girl who was eating grapes? (R)

i.e I found the book that was missing
Adverbial: usually functions as adverbial
1) adverbial clause
i,e I was alreaght when we started talking
2) Sentential relative clause
i.e All of the students got an A, which was cool.
Norminal: has same functions as NP (S, dO, iO, sP, oP, complement of prep.)

i.e He said (that) fat was healthy.

i.e I don’t know if this is a good idea.
