It is the slight stress given to the last syllable in a rhythmic group. It’s not necessarily lounder, but it is always longer.

Keep the back of your tongue down, press the tip against the ridge just above the base of your upper teeth, and release.
Be careful not to let the back of your tongue pull backwards, especially at the end of a word.
