A

argument for- yes it is n, because religion oppresses and keeps women below the glass celling because the hierarchy in religion such as orthodox Judaism and Catholicism leaves them in subordinate positions where they cannot become priests or bishops

Q

what is the argument that suggests that religion is moving forward from their outdated view on the liberation of women regarding hierarchy in religion

A

the argument that women are beginning to break the glass celling and become bishops and priests especially in the church of England has been proven for example in 1992 women started to become priests and in 2014 women started to become bishops
however this is only about 1/5 of females who have a hierarchal position in religion
