Functionalism
Functionalists perceive the human society like the human body. This is called the organic or biological analogy because it compares society to a living organism.
The different parts of the body all have jobs to keep you healthy; in the same way , each part of society is seen as having functions that all help the society as a whole to be healthy and survive. In Summary, Functionalist believe individuals have specific functions in the society to keep society healthy and survive.

Feminists (types explained)
Feminists covers a wide range of ideas that there are several stands within feminism.
Liberal feminists
- They believe that major advances have been made and that equality can be reached through further changes such as new laws; their views do not emphasise conflicts.
Radical feminists
- They believe that despite these advances societies remain fundamentally patriachial and men still have power; though this may now be less obvious, radical changes are still needed.
Marxist ( or socialist) feminists
- They bring together the insights of both Marxism and feminism, focusing on how class and gender work together to produce fundamental divisions in society.
