Audacity - katapangan
A person who is flexible adapts his behavior
readily to the particular circumstances of
each individual or situation, but without
readily abandoning his own personal
principles of behavior
Flexibility – kakayahang umangko
A courageous person resists harmful
influences, withstands difficulties and strives
to act positively to overcome obstacles and
undertakes great deeds
Fortitude – lakas ng loob (katiningan ng loob)
Through friendship, a person who already
knows certain other, through shared interests
in work or leisure has regular personal
contact with them which stems from mutual
rapport
Friendship – pagkakaibigan
A generous act person acts unselfishyly and
cheerfully for the benefit of other
Generosity – pagkabukas-palad
Ahumble person recognizes his own
inadequacy, qualities and abilities, doing good
without attracting attention or experiencing
the applause of others
Humility – pagpapakumbaba
An industrious person does diligently those
things especially essential to the achievement
of supernatural and natural maturity and help
others to do the same
Industriousness – kasipagan
A just person strives constantly to give others
what is their due, so that they can fulfill their
duties and exercise their rights as persons
Justice – hustisya
A loyal person accepts the bonds implient in
his relationship with other – friends, relatives,
superiors, his country, its institution, etc. and
as he goes on, he depends and enforces the
system of values that these represent
Loyalty – katapatan
A person who is moderate distinguishes
between what is reasonable and what is selfindulgent and makes reasonable use
Moderation – katinahunan
Recognizes the value of his own privacy and
respects that of other that protects his
privacy from gaze of others
Modesty – kayumian
An obedient person accept his own decisions
those which come from whoever holds and
express authority, provided they do not go
against justice and he carries our promptly
what has been decided striving faithfully to
interpret the will of him who commands

An optimist has confidence, based on a
reason, in his own abilities, in the help, which
can be obtained from others, and the ability

Optism – pag-asa sa mabuting ibubunga
An orderly person follows a logical procedure
which is essential for the achievement of any
goal he sets himself, in organizing his things,
using his time, carrying out his activities on
his own initiative, without having to be
constantly reminded
Orderliness – mahusay na kilos
A patient person bears present difficulties
calmly, in a situation when he senses some
difficulty to achieve
Patience – paumanhin
A persevering person takes the step necessary
to achieve the goal he has set for himself, in
spite of internal or external difficulties, and
despite anything which weaken his resolve in
the course of time
Perseverance – sigasig
The prudent person gathers information
which he assesses in the light of right
standards; he weighs the favorable and
unfavorable consequences for himself and
other prior to taking a decision and then he
acts or refrain from acting, in keeping with
the decision he has made
Prudence – kabaitan
A person who has respect for others acts or
refrain from acting so as not to harm and
instead so as to benefit himself and others,
according to their rights, status and
circumstances
Respect for others – respect means treating
everyone and everything with care
Sincere person makes full disclosure, where
appropriate, to the right person and at the
right time of anything he has done, seen,
thought, or felt with regard to his own or
another’s situation
Sincerity – katapatan
A responsible person accepts the
consequences of his actions, be it intentional
or unintentional, so the others either benefit
as much as possible, or at least,
Responsibility – kaungkulan, tungkulin
Simple person ensures that his normal way of
acting his speech, the way he dresses, the
way he behaves are consistent with what his
real motives are; he allows other people to
know him accurately
Simplicity – kalatagan, kasimplihan
A sociable person makes good use of and
discovers ways of getting together with
different people; he manages to
communicate with them through the genuine
interest he shows in them
Sociability – pakikisalamuha
Understanding person recognizes the various
factors which influence feelings or behavior,
he studies each of these factors and how they
relate to one another
Understanding – pagkakaunawaan
A patriotic person gives honor and service,
thereby supporting and defending the values
it stands for while also making his own the
noble aspiration of every country in the world
Patriotism – pag-ibig sa bayanang tinubuan,
nationalism
