. limits flexibility
. lead to health problems e.g. CHD, diabetes & high blood pressure & high cholesterol

where is cholesterol made & what is it transported as
A
- made in the liver
- carried by the blood as low-density lipoprotein (LDL) and high-density lipoprotein (HDL)

- fatty deposits developing in arteries
- causes negative effect o blood flow

what does HDL do ?
A
- takes cholesterol away from the parts of the body where it has accumulated to the liver
- where it is disposed of

- type of unsaturated fats
- found in meat and dairy products
. most are made from industrial process that adds hydrogen to liquid vegetable oils
. causes oil to become liquid at room temp.
