A
- An online service that offers secure messaging, forms, and routine and controlled prescription orders on mobile or desktop for physicians, healthcare providers, and facilities
- It’s HIPAA- compliant technology ensures that sensitive information is delivered securely
- Healthcare professionals use Mediprocity on mobile devices (iOS or Android), or on any browser to send text messages, attach files, labs, and images, or to place routine or control orders safely and securely

Transfers must be performed by pharmacist to pharmacist (pharmacist interns are allowed to transfer prescriptions)

Transfer of controlled substances
A
- Any number of remaining refills may be transferred, but original prescriptions becomes void
- May not transfer off a transferred controlled prescription
- Pharmacies sharing a real-time (on-line electronic database) may transfer refill information as often as refills are authorized (DEA: not truly a transfer)
- Transferring pharmacist - a) writes “VOID” on face of invalidated prescription and b) records pharmacy DEA number of receiving pharmacy
- Receiving pharmacist records pharmacy DEA number of transferring pharmacy

- Findings: indicating that the problem may or does exist
- Assessment: includes pharmacist’s evaluation of the current situation
- Resolution of Problem: should reflect the actions proposed to resolve drug-related problem
- Monitoring of End Points / Outcomes: a plan for follow-up monitoring of pt must be documented and implemented
