Accessory Muscles

X-ray of kidneys, ureters, and bladder used to look for stones

Group of conditions which share clinical features with Parkinson’s Disease have distinct differences in presentation, response to therapy, and pathology.

A cavity within a bone or other tissue, especially one in the bones of the face or skull connecting with the nasal cavities (ethmoid, sphenoid, frontal, and/or maxillary)

Inflammation or infection of the sinus cavities

A stretched or torn ligament
Sputum
Mixture of saliva and mucous that is produced when coughing.
Status Asthmaticus
A severe condition in which asthma attacks follow one another without pause.
Strain
A stretched or torn muscle or tendon.
Tonsillitis
Inflammation or infection of the tonsils
Tonsils
Two small masses of lymphatic tissue in the throat, one on each side of the root of the tongue.
Trigger
Something to which exposure incites a specific reaction in a specific individual
Tympanometry
Measures movement of tympanic membrane in response to changes in pressure
Unstable Angina
Chest pain at rest that cannot be relieved by resting.
Urolithiasis
Stone in the urinary system (typically the ureter), commonly referred to as a kidney stone
Vertigo
A sensation of rotation or movement of one’s self or of one’s surroundings, not synonymous with dizziness
Wheezing
High pitched lung sounds, often due to bronchospasm.
