What does the Penetrating vessel do?
Acts as a reservoir of Qi and blood for the 12 meridians
What does the Belt Vessel do?
Regulates all meridians
What does the Yang Heel and Yin Heel do?
Yang Heel - is found on the lateral heel and runs along the UB channel.
Yin Heel - on the medial heel and runs along KD meridian
Regulates motor activity and movement of lower limbs
What does the Yang Linking Vessel do?
On the outer aspect of the foot.
Dominates the exterior of the body and connects with the Yang channels
What does the Yin Linking Vessel do?
On the medial aspect of leg.
Dominates the interior of the body and connects with the Yin channels

- circulate defensive Qi in thorax, abdomen, and back
- protects from external pathogens
- regulates the 7 and 8 year cycles
