Learning by association, Occurs when two stimuli are repeatedly paired together (UCS) + (NS). The NS eventually produces the same response as the unlearnt stimulus alone

A form of learning in which behaviour is shaped and maintained by its consequence. Possible consequence of behaviour = positive/negative reinforcement or punishment
