Q

What are the differences between gradation and weathering

A

1] definition- gradation is the process of removing unnevennes on the land and making it a level land whereas weathering is breaking up, wearing, rotting and disintegration of rocks at the earth surface .

2] The main agencies of gradation are moving water, wind glaciers and sea waves whereas the main agencies of weathering are temperature changes, Humidity and precipitation

3] degradation is a static process as it involves no transportation or depositional processes whereas weathering is a continuous process which involved erosion

4] gradation plays an important role is soil formation whereas weathering is responsible for the the development of many landforms
